Throughout the year, we host a diverse range of online and in-person events across Greater Manchester and beyond, bringing together entrepreneurs, professionals, aspiring business owners, community leaders, young people, and individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference.
Our programme includes business networking events, leadership and personal development workshops, digital marketing and business start-up training, mentoring sessions, motivational talks, panel discussions, and mental health and wellbeing seminars delivered by experienced professionals and guest speakers. We also celebrate key occasions such as International Women's Day, host our annual networking gala and awards ceremony, and organise community events that promote collaboration, inclusion, and social impact.
In addition, our WIBE Models initiative offers confidence-building workshops, catwalk and modelling training, personal branding, public speaking, etiquette, cultural fashion showcases, and creative development opportunities that celebrate diversity and promote positive representation.
Our events are open to women and, through our growing MWIBE (Men & Women in Business Empowered) initiative, we also welcome men who share our vision of creating inclusive, supportive communities where everyone has the opportunity to learn, connect, and thrive.

WIBE Model Management Programme
WIBE Model Management is an exciting initiative of Women in Business Empowered (WIBE) CIC, created to discover, develop, and empower aspiring models while promoting confidence, diversity, creativity, and cultural representation. More than a modelling programme, it is a personal and professional development platform that equips individuals with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed both on and off the runway.
We believe that modelling is about much more than appearance, it's about self-confidence, discipline, professionalism, communication, and embracing your unique identity. Our programme welcomes people from all backgrounds, ages, shapes, sizes, and levels of experience, creating an inclusive environment where talent can flourish and everyone feels valued.
Through structured training, participants receive guidance in catwalk techniques, posing, personal branding, etiquette, public speaking, confidence building, fashion presentation, photoshoot preparation, and professional conduct. We also provide opportunities to gain practical experience through fashion shows, networking events, community projects, promotional campaigns, and collaborations with designers, photographers, makeup artists, and other creative professionals.
A key focus of WIBE Model Management is celebrating diversity and promoting Black culture and Afrocentric fashion while embracing multicultural representation within the fashion and creative industries. We are passionate about creating opportunities for individuals from underrepresented communities to showcase their talent, celebrate their heritage, and increase their visibility in an industry that continues to evolve.
Beyond modelling, we encourage entrepreneurship, leadership, teamwork, and community engagement. Participants are supported to build transferable skills that can benefit careers in fashion, media, business, public speaking, pageantry, events, and the wider creative sector.
